From the judges: The planning of such an impactful event seemed to be heavily thought out, especially with a small team and a very small spend. The team at Simon Fraser really put their own unique stamp on an idea that has been done in the past. It was thoughtfully planned and executed on the back end, and the focus on inclusivity was important. Lastly, we commend their overall thought process in using this event for multi-purpose and multi-audiences. A hallmark of a good program that is working to get the best ROI on a shoestring budget.
